Bed linen with ballet motif's did it for me at Pottery Barn Kids
I couldn't resist popping in to look at the new Pottery Barn Kids in Bondi Junction opposite Westfields
Even though I prefer a more whimsical, retro, homemade and handcrafted styling there were some cute things.
I did like the Princess and Pea duvet cover, the chenille spot curtains but my favourite, hands down are the ballet motif sheet sets. I think all ballerinas - little and old - need bed linen covered in ballet motifs!
In the early 80's my mum purchased matching pink Sheridan sheets for my sister and I with photograph style images of ballerina's in arabesque, pas de deux and retire shapes. I loved these.... and think I may just have to pull them out when I next return to the country to visit.
Back to Pottery Barn Kids ...... The one thing that really irked me today was that the prices are labelled in US dollars - $59 for the muched loved ballerina sheet set is printed on the item but the Australian price is revealed at the checkout and not chepaer as you'd expect due to the exchange rate but $5 more expensive. $74 is a great bargain price but it doesn't seem right to be doing that. What do you think?
